About Us

The creation of Courage 365 itself is a story of perseverance and passion. Our founder, Ashley Easter, grew up and lived in a cult for 22 years. Thankfully, she was able to break free and decided to take control of her life. This journey was not an easy one. But with the help of her husband, Will Easter, Ashley began experiencing healing and empowerment.

As a survivor, Ashley spoke out about her past and the challenges she had overcome. As a result, hundreds of abuse survivors reached out describing their experiences. Knowing she was not alone, Ashley realized she had to do something. The result was the launch of The Courage Conference in 2016, which has since evolved into Courage 365.

Today, Courage 365 inspires and transforms countless abuse survivors’ lives through a community of understanding, inspiration, and empowerment.

We are an organization created by survivors for survivors.

Associations

Courage 365 is not formally affiliated with any religious institution though many participants self-identify as Christian. We see ourselves as a service to survivors harmed, particularly within religious environments. Even though we are more widely known to survivors of Christian churches, we serve those with different or no religious affiliation. Abuse affects everyone.

Disclaimer: We take trauma triggers seriously and work to create a sensitive environment. However, it is important to understand that each person’s trauma triggers are different and individuals are responsible for managing their own triggers in the best and safest way possible for them.

Guests and speakers are given sensitivity guidelines but their opinions expressed remain their own and are ultimately not within the power of Courage 365 to control. Topics related to abuse and religion are often addressed in our groups, events, and shows.
