Lori Anne Thompson is an advocate, survivor, storyteller, wife, and mother of five. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada and is currently pursuing an MA in Child Advocacy and Policy through Montclair State University. With over twenty-five years’ experience as a Human Movement Professional, Medical Exercise Specialist (AAFHRP), and Functional Range Conditioning Provider (FRC), Lori Anne joins the Courage Conference to lead attendees in a brief “Moving to Mend” session.
This tutorial in self-care will review common areas of musculoskeletal discomfort and inflammation and show how a “Motion as Lotion” can be applied for common discomforts to trauma triggers. No previous experience necessary.
