Johanna Tropiano is an activist, speaker, and passionate storyteller with nearly a decade of experience advocating for the rights of those who are oppressed. She spent five years combating human trafficking and other human rights issues as a staff member at International Justice Mission. As a survivor of domestic violence and child sexual assault, Johanna is a bold and compassionate voice. Her writing on these topics has been featured in Teen Vogue, Huffington Post, Darling Magazine, and multiple other outlets. She lives in Long Beach, California with her husband and daughter and is working on her forthcoming memoir, Travel Light.
